⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay! From the moment I arrived, the service at this hotel exceeded my expectations. A special thank-you to Chantavia, who truly went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and kind — the type of person who turns a good experience into a great one. The hotel itself was immaculately clean from top to bottom, both inside and out. Every detail, from the fresh linens to the well-kept lobby, showed how much care goes into maintaining this property. They’ve thought of everything — all the necessities and little touches that make for an enjoyable and stress-free stay. I’m genuinely impressed and will absolutely be returning. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service!

Stayed at this location on 10.15.2025 during my travels through Illinois. Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and hot showers. Definitely will stay at this location again and Highly Recommend to anyone traveling through Springfield. KUDOS to Max for his hospitality upon checking in and for Recommending Charlie Parkers Diner for breakfast.

Wonderful! The staff here was so friendly and accommodating. My room was spotless and clean with a modern layout. The hotel was quiet and peaceful.and CLEAN. The staff was quiet when cleaning rooms. Housekeeping was on fleek! I had the best stay here that I've had in years anywhere. Very convenient location. 5 stars! I've paid three times as much to have a stay this nice. I highly recommend Candlewood Suits.

This place is amazing. The location is right by some great restaurants. This end of the city is far less congested and more rural. It's quiet and easy to navigate. The hotel itself is so cozy and clean. It is actually the best Candlewood I have stayed at to date and I stay at around 170 IHG locations every year for work. My check in was smooth, warm, inviting and expedient with Ms. Chantavia. She is an absolute goddess and most assuredly makes you feel important. I hope they are paying her correctly for her top shelf expertise and exquisite customer service. Now my room was very cozy, clean and smelled fresh like it was just serviced. The bed is amazing and comfy. They have a sundry to rival most with plethora of items you have to choose from as you can see in the pictures. I with all conviction most assuredly recommend this locale to my fellow travelers. You will not be disappointed!!

the hotel was very accommodating for our last minute wedding block needs. the rooms were spacious and clean. the staff was amazing at every interaction. i cannot say enough good things about this hotel and would definitely stay there again if i was traveling back to springfield!

I visited Springfield, IL last month to say goodbye to my wonderful childhood friend who was dying of cancer. When researching on Google for a decent hotel that was reasonably priced, this one kept coming up. Since I was traveling, my husband made the reservation for me. When I checked in, the woman at the desk was kind and very helpful in getting my room. The hotel is near the interstate which is convenient, and there are a few restaurants nearby that have good ratings as well. The hotel is a little tired and has some wear and tear if you look hard, but is very clean, serviceable, comfortable and with a great staff! There is no breakfast offered at this hotel, but the room has a full sized kitchen in a small space with everything you could possibly need to make a meal. They do have food for sale in a room down near the desk if you just want something quick to microwave or just have a snack. There is also a grocery store about a mile north of the hotel at the corner of Dirksen Pkwy and S. Grand Ave along with some Tesla super chargers. They have all of the shower amenities you would need in the bathroom, like shampoo, conditioner and body soap, as I'd forgotten mine in my rush to get up north. The bed, bedding and pillows (offering a combination of soft and firm pillows) was very comfortable and I think I had the best sleep I'd had in a while! All of the people I interacted with at this hotel were kind, courteous and full of knowledge of the area. One person in particular stood out, and her name was Chantaria (I sure hope I spelled it right). She was the one that helped me with check in (as there was a slight issue) and I had the most wonderful conversation with her later on when I came back down to ask some questions. I will definitely stay with Candlewood Suites in Springfield on any future trips I make to the area, they offer a clean, comfortable and safe place to stay with a wonderful staff!

I loved this hotel, it was great! Sadly no pool, but it is a very clean, very friendly and comfortable place to stay. The beds were super comfortable aswell

This hotel is amazing! The rooms here are awesome and very clean. They have everything you need to feel at home. The rooms have a full kitchen so you can cook, if you don’t feel like going out for dinner. Kelly at the front desk did an outstanding job helping us with everything we needed. She’s the best! Even Bill, who was vacuuming the hallway floor, was very polite and kind to us when we passed by. Highly recommended!
